Noise Notice
In mid-May, loud pile driving work will occur at the base of a bridge support near OR 99E during the day (7 a.m. to 8 p.m.) for approximately four weeks. Noise from pile driving will be most noticeable in Oregon City but will carry across the river and may be heard in West Linn. This pile driving is necessary to build the foundation for the upcoming widening of the Abernethy Bridge.
People who live and work in the project area will hear noise from construction equipment and vehicles, bridge demolition, and other construction-related noise sources. Residents in the vicinity of the construction area should anticipate elevated noise levels while this work is occurring.
